ax25-tools software package provides tools for AX.25 interface configuration, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ax25-tools
ax25-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ax25-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ax25-tools *
You will get with ax25-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
